Our history

VIP Safety Strategies was founded by Joe Beston, a Boston hospitality veteran who has worked in the industry since 2012 across bars, nightclubs, lounges, restaurants, breweries, and high-volume late-night venues. 

Built from firsthand experience on the floor—not from theory—our work focuses on how incidents develop under real operating conditions. We provide behavior-based inspections and corrective training that support insurance carriers, alcohol licensing attorneys, and hospitality operators when risk is real, decisions matter, and defensible action is required.

We were founded to address a simple gap in the hospitality industry:

most incidents don’t happen because policies are missing — they happen because real-world behavior breaks down under pressure.

Our work focuses on how venues actually operate, especially in late-night, high-risk environments.
